IN CHARACTER The Festival del Mar has come to the city! Roughly translated to Festival of the Sea, Sofia is clad in vibrant colors and the boats are being prepared to launch off for a few days. There is a fishing competition, costume contests, music battles, cooking classes, and more! Some of the children of the Founders may be seen wandering the streets as well. At the same time, danger lurks at the edges of the city.

FESTIVAL DEL MAR
To celebrate the soft opening of the site, there will be an art/writing contest and an advertising contest! They will go on for awhile, so prepare to settle in for the long run. As we open the site, there's a festival in Sofia! But be careful- danger lurks at every corner, even if your characters are not aware of it.

Welcome to Andalusian Nights! Updates and edits to everything are very VERY slow going. New members may register and start apps, but it could be awhile before we get to it.

Any questions you may have for the staff can be posted here. If you have a suggestion for the site or otherwise you may post it in the suggestions sub-board. If you need a staff member's service to move or attend to something, post it in the requests board.

This is the most financially stable district, with Lamarque Enterprises and Cellulabs being the biggest businesses. The hospital is also here. A lot of professional people can be seen walking past either texting on their cellphones or talking into Bluetooth speakers. There are three different malls spread out throughout the district, one of them owned by Lamarque Enterprises.

Many restaurants and bistros can be found throughout Sofia, but they are primarily circling around the Commerce district. It's also where there are a lot of stores and shops, with stalls of food or colorful scarves dotting the stone-paved streets. Occasionally, you may find someone playing an instrument on the corners of streets.
|
|
Many people live in the Residential District, either in the harbor or in the various housing opportunities on the edges of the city. In the district, there will be quite a few opportunities to take if the want to take walks or decide to get out of the house one day.
|
|
Throughout this entire district, you may see a rather eclectic mix of stores and things to do around Sofia. There could be a flashy building for an entire bookstore, but right next to it could be a small, mysterious one where flamenco dancers come to life at night. The Lineworks company is centered here.
|
|
The various fields of corn, soy, and orchards are spread across the hills, part of the immense business that the O'Donahues control. There are also large pastures where the horses and cattle graze. Several houses and barns are grouped together, where the O'Donahues live.
|
|
The Farmer's Market is located on the outskirts of the city, where the farmers come to sell their goods in the various stalls. It spans quite a few streets, with a lot of stalls. At one end, there is an auction house for horses and cattle. At the other is a large corn field.
|
|
The Grounds is the campus as a whole, excluding dormitories and the courtyard. If something you'd like to roleplay doesn't happen in any other board, you would roleplay it here.
|
|
The campus courtyard is set in the center of the campus, a large open area for students and staff only to enter. It offers many places to study like an internet cafe, a library, a general store, etcetera, as well as The Quad and Recreational Halls.
|
|
Many of the classes are held here on campus. If you're going to be in class, don't be late! The professors encourage that you attend all classes.
|
|
University housing dorms are where most students that go on-campus live. Holding many house events, the dorms are lively.
|
|
Texting and calling is a way to get in touch with other characters quickly in a time of need or just for fun.
|
|
Social media is a big part of Sofía's youth culture, and plays a big part in how word travels.
|
