Appearance
Appearance: Oliver is rather thin and tall, with a small amount of muscle mass to fill out his figure. His skin is fair, but it tans lightly in the sun. His hair changes with the seasons- like the roe deer he used to shift into, his hair is a smooth muted ginger color in the summer and a messier mousy-brown during the winter. It's always falling into his bright eyes during the colder months. At the nape of his neck, there is a small white patch of hair year-round, which tends to stand on end when he is surprised or fearful. His eyes are an icy glacial blue, surrounded by thick lashes. His nose is slightly curved with a button tip, and his cheekbones are high; he has a few freckles dusting them. Thin brows hover over his oval face and pointed chin, often raised in surprise. He has a narrow top lip and a fuller bottom one. He has a bit of a baby face, and Oliver could be considered attractive by most standards.
Being a B-shift, Oliver has short, straight antlers sticking out from beneath his locks. Again, like his animal counterpart, they begin growth in December, and they're not really visible. At the early stages, Oliver's antlers are soft (covered in velvet) and breakable. They continue growing through the winter, spring, and summer, gaining about three points, until they finally fall off in November.
Another manifestation of his deer shift poking through is the hoof-like structure of his feet. Some of his toes have fused together to form a hoof shape, though still remaining fleshy and not turning into the hard black keratin structure on traditional deer.
Fashion-wise, Oliver is inept. Having been forced to wear a uniform for most of his day-to-day life, he never really was able to develop much of a distinct style. Often, he wears slim jeans or athletic sweats with a neutral-toned top. He likes to be warm, so you'll almost always see him wearing long sleeves.
Shift Traits: Oliver used to shift into a roe deer, a relatively small deer with short, reddish-russet fur in the summer and shaggier, greyish-brown hair in the winter. Their fur is rough and straw-like. On their rump, there is a white patch that flares up as a warning when they feel they are in danger. Oliver inherits this cautious nature from his shift. Roe deer, as explained in Oliver's description, begin their antler growth in the winter (December) and drop their antlers in the late fall. Because Oliver can no longer shift, he doesn't turn into his deer form anymore, but he still exhibits some traits. For example, he often flees rather than fights and is often unpredictable. He is very shy, but if he finds a familial group, he quietly yet loyally sticks by them. The vegan lifestyle suits his stomach much more than any meat-eating one does, and in fact, his stomach can't handle too much carnivorous eating. He can get stomach diseases and become malnourished. He has gained the ruminating stomachs of his deer counterpart, which is built to digest various types of plant matter. Because of this, he has to chew his food several times (chew cud), which most people find rather disgusting. He usually doesn't like to eat in front of others out of embarrassment.

Personality
Personality: Being rather timid, Oliver doesn't make new friends often. Instead, he sticks with the core group of friends he's got with steadfast loyalty. If someone hurts him, though, it takes him a very long time to become comfortable around them again. He isn't hostile, but if he feels threatened, he shrinks away from danger.
Oliver has a creative personality. He is a talented vocalist, and he enjoys drawing and reading. He loves all kinda of music, but surprisingly, k-pop is one of his favorite genres. He likes how its heavy beat contrasts so bluntly with his soft energy. It makes him feel like a different person, like who he sometimes wishes he could be- energetic, outgoing, and reckless fun.
In reality, Oliver is delicate- he is careful and over-analyzing, yet surprisingly empathetic. He values his relationships more than anything else and will sacrifice anything for them.

History
History: Oliver was born on the coast of Normandy, France to two fairly wealthy parents. Neither of them shifted, so when his ability to transform into a deer started to develop from an early age, they didn't really know how to react. When Oliver was only four, they sent him off to an all-male boarding school in the Alps, and he only came home for a few weeks during the summer.
At school, Oliver was often picked on for being small. He learned to seclude himself, and during this time he developed many of his creative talents. One day, several older buys were chasing Oliver around campus, threatening to beat him up, when he tried shifting to his deer shift so he could run faster. His panic made the shift clumsy, and he got stuck in between. Ever since then, he has not been able to change at all.
During his boarding school years, Oliver had exactly one friend, and they did nearly everything together. When he was 17, Oliver had the opportunity to study South Korea for two years, but his friend did not. His friend became jealous, and once Oliver returned to France, he'd already moved on and
