[attr="class","revcallpersonality1"] Cerne has always been a very gentle creature in either form. He never fights unless required, and tries his best to never hurt anyone. He is very loyal to the few beings that he can call friends, and does whatever he can to help them when help is needed. However, if his trust is broken he can hold a grudge for a very long time before ever trusting again. Not one to ever back down, even if he should, Cerne is overly courageous to the point of idiocy. He once attempted to take on a bear because it stole his dinner. In the end the bear won the food, but Cerne won the battle, for he found the bears stash and ended up with auch better meal then he lost. He can be very mischievous and likes to pull pranks on others, and tends to be good natured when the prank backfires or he is pranked in return. Since he is a dog most of the time, Cerne is very outgoing and has tons of energy to spare. He loves to run through the forests and walk along beaches. He is very smart and picks up on new things quickly, but will stubbornly refuse to convert into a new way of thinking if he likes the way something is. Cerne was born one of two pups to a stray dog. The young male never learned his mother's name before he was taken from her. At two days old, his mother left and did not return. The next morning a couple of humans found the nest they laid crying in and took them to the local shelter in the hopes that the puppies could find homes eventually. The staff at the shelter bottle fed the two puppies and played with them, even going so far as giving them names. The male was called dark one, Cerne, and the female was called little fawn, Feena, for her brown spotted pelt.

Once the siblings reached the age where they could be adopted to new homes, they were put with the other dogs awaiting their perfect families. Those families did not come. Instead a bitter faced woman in a stiff white coat walked slowly down the line of kennels and checked the clipboards of information at the entrance to each. The woman gave Cerne and Feena a smile that made his hackles raise and his lip curl. There was nothing the male could do about it when the staff came into the kennel and put both pups into a small carrier and passed them to the bitter woman.

Once the awful rolling motion and horrible smell of the car was over with, new and weirder things happened. He was taken away from his sister and never saw her, or the bitter woman again He was injected and examined, tests were ran, and eventually he was coaxed into a new skin.

Two years later, with many lessons learned, Cerne had become stable enough to leave the ones who had cared for him. In his true form he was an adult, and in his human form he was getting better. He traveled far from the place he grew up, wanting to start over fresh where no one knew him.

He had been human only three times since entering Sofia, and did not plan to add many more to that total.
