[attr="class","revcallpersonality1"] Let's just start by saying Maeve is bossy, head-strong, and can't seem to figure people out. Nor technology for that matter. Ever since she was young, Maeve had always wanted things to go her way. And she isn't afraid to express that. Maeve has rules and a schedule, and she wants other people to follow these guidelines. An orderly life is a happy life. Living on a farm means things have to be done on a schedule. Messing with the schedule can mean the difference between a good harvest and a bad one. Nothing can just be "put off till tomorrow". Frost could suddenly appear and kill all the plants. A stray wire could hurt, potentially kill, one of the cattle. Procrastination does not exist. This strict lifestyle can become a little obsessive. Maeve will become knit-picky about the way a table is wiped down, or what time people arrive. Some may say she just enjoys stressing herself out.[break] [break] Growing up, Maeve didn't have a lot of friends. In addition, she never really had a lot of attention from guys. She found herself being self-conscious of her shift, the Scottish Highland Cow. While other girls were beautiful foxes or stunning falcons, she felt her shift was awkward and ugly. It seemed guys felt the same way. In fact, as she grew older, guys began to become intimidated by her massive body and huge horns. She found herself pushing guys away before they could have the chance to reject her first. If a guy were to ever gain her trust, they would easily be able to manipulate her. Trust is all or nothing.[break] [break] While Maeve attended University, she found herself enjoying poetry. Not so much writing it (because she feels it is shit), but mostly listening and reading it. Its a part of her life she doesn't like to share, since she is afraid people will make fun of her. Poetry is only for those trained in the arts anyway, right? Not for a simple mind like hers.[break] [break] Maeve prefers black coffee over tea. The only tea she will drink is sweet tea. Hot tea is too subtle of a taste for her. In addition, Maeve loves the snow. When she traveled North to her ancestry land in Ireland during the winter, it snowed while she was there. It was the first time she had experienced snow. Her shifter form has a very thick undercoat, and was evolved to withstand the bitter temperatures of winter. So she finds herself extremely hot during the peak summer seasons (another reason she is rarely in shifter form). Lastly, you will never catch Maeve dead in a dress. Dresses are too restricting and unconventional. Maeve is the eldest sibling of the O'Donahue family, born to Brian and Aileen. As a first born, they were very attentive to her. For the most part, they were a little too cautious with her. This caused them to lay down a lot of rules in the beginning. Often telling her "no" more than "yes". Maeve could have grown up two ways - rebelling against her strict parents, or becoming strict herself. Well, let's just say when she says "wash the dishes", you better wash the damn dishes. If any of them were bullied, Maeve would shift into her cow form and chase them down. Her bossiness also meant she didn't have a ton of friends. The public school she went to was very diverse, incorporating kids from many different social classes. Maeve had a hard time fitting in because of it. Her family was relatively wealthy, coming from a very long line of farmers that support nearly all of Sofia. However, she was never taught fine arts or ate caviar from a silver spoon. Yet she could not relate to the lower-class farming children, who would complain of hand-me-downs or having to sell some of their property. At least Maeve had a few good friends to help her get through school. Although Maeve did really well in school, she was never completely interested in her work. Mostly she loved to follow her parents around and help them out on the farm. Particularly, she loved to help with the horses. She began riding when she was just 6 years old. Her first horse was a short, black, Morgan mare named Dancer. Although Dancer was a bit of a bitch, Maeve could always handle her. Anytime she was bucked off, she got right back on.[break][break]
